September is International Balloon Month

September is international Balloon Month.

International Balloon Month seeks to raise awareness of the joy of balloons and spotlight the economic impact the multi-billion dollar balloon industry has on the world.

This September is the 225th birthday of British Scientist Michael Faraday, who invented balloons in 1842. Michael Faraday did not create balloons for the reason their used primarily for today. Faraday created balloons for an experiment with hydrogen. The following year toy balloons were introduced by pioneer rubber manufacturer Thomas Hancock and the rest is history.

Balloons and the designs created with them have been taking the world by storm. Balloons are not only use to decorate, but also to convey emotion. Balloon bouquets are delivered daily around the world, for many occasions and reasons. Need to say I love you, Happy Birthday, Get Well, Congratulations, say it with a Balloon Bouquet. Balloon Bouquets are expressive arrangements sent to lift up the recipient.

In honor of International Balloon Month, and in support of the #liftupsomebody campaign. Celebrations of Life will be giving away delivery bouquets in the month of September.
